Audrey’s Own Words
I grew up in OK, married a man from MN, and ended up in Evansville, IN right in the middle of a global pandemic. We have 3 children that I homeschool. I love all things holistic and enjoy making food from scratch and teaching others the art of sourdough. My goal as a birth doula is to make sure every parent feels supported, heard, and empowered. I look forward to walking alongside you with warmth, knowledge, and care so you never feel alone on this journey.
Why did you become a birth doula?
I fell in love with the birth process after having my first child. Then after becoming a special needs mom, I became very passionate about helping others learn the power of real informed consent and being their own advocate. I want to be a part of empowering birthing people to ask questions and speak up when something doesn’t feel right. My goal is to educate with evidence based research and make sure people feel heard and supported.
What do you love about living in Evansville?
I have lived in Evansville since August of 2020 and I love the small town feel with large city shopping and entertainment options. Our family also loves the proximity to several larger cities. We’ve built such a great community here.
Where can we find you on a typical Saturday?
On a typical Saturday I’m going to be at home with my husband and our 3 kids or getting together with friends from church.
What type of clients are you excited to work with?
I’m especially excited to support clients who value emotional connection, informed decision-making, and a calm, grounded presence during birth. Whether they’re planning a hospital birth, home birth, or something in between, I look forward to working with families who want a supportive teammate by their side—someone who will hold space, offer guidance, and honor their choices every step of the way.
